1. IPMDA- Indo-Pacific Partnership for Maritime Domain Awareness (IPMDA) - to build a maritime picture of near real-time activities in partners' waters, tracking 'dark shipping' and other tactical - level activities.

3. Quad Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation Package (Q-CHAMP)- green shipping  & 'shared green corridor.

4. HADR- Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief - to increase humanitarian footprint in Indo Pacific region


Prevention of Corruption Act 

Section 7:
Public servant taking gratification other than legal remuneration in respect of an official act: punishable with imprisonment - 6 months(minimum) to 5 years (maximum) and shall also be liable to fine.

Section 8:
Taking gratification by corrupt or illegal means to influence public servant: punishable with imprisonment - 6 months(minimum) to 5 years (maximum) and shall also be liable to fine.


Section 13(1)(a to e): Criminal misconduct by a public servant
Section 13(1)(e)-possession of pecuniary resources or property disproportionate to known sources of income
Section 13(2): Punishment for criminal misconduct- imprisonment for 1 year(minimum) to 7 years and shall also be liable to fine.

Registration of births and deaths  
1. Governed by the Registration of Births and Deaths (RBD) Act, 1969
2. State governments responsible for the establishment and management of the registration system
3. Registrar General of India (RGI)- appointed by the Central Government - coordinates and unifies the activities of registration.

Registering a birth or death reported after a year:
Order of a First Class Magistrate issued after verification of facts about the birth or death is required

2020 data-
Female deaths - just 39.8% of the total registered deaths
Lowest female death registration- Nagaland (26.7%)
Highest female death registration- Kerala (44.9%)

Reasons for low registration of female and children deaths- families may not require the death certificates for settling inheritance, insurance claims etc.

Targets for companies in draft notification by the Environment Ministry:
a) 2023- 60% collection and recycling

Extended producer responsibilities (EPR) certificates : certify that the quantity of e-waste collected and recycled in a particular year by a company and an organization may sell surplus quantities to another company to help meet its obligations

India ranks 5th in e waste producing countries (after the U.S., China, Japan, Germany)


Revamped Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) app
Announced by National Health Authority (NHA) under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM)
Earlier the ABHA app was known as the NDHM Health Records app

Features:
1. People can access their health records anytime and anywhere
2. Can create an ABHA address (usename@abdm) that can be linked/unlinked with 14 digit randomly generated ABHA number
3. Self uploading of physical health records in the ABDM- complaint health lockers
4. Share the diagnostic reports, prescriptions, CoWIN vaccination certificate after consent of an individual
